About Me

Hi, I'm Lori. I am a wife, a mother and a 'MeMe'. I love to garden, write and I love being outdoors surrounded by family.

Since 1978 I have served in the medical field. I made my way through different types of healthcare and eventually found my passion for older adults. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved being around the elderly and soaking in their wisdom and experience.

Once I became a clinical nurse specialist in gerontology, I knew I had found my professional niche.

Eventually, my experiences working with Alzheimer's patients and their families led me to discover that there is a higher purpose for palliative care and the lessons I've learned from these patients caused me to see the tremendous spiritual application the aging process has for us all.  This site a space to reflect on these things and pass them along.

MY SERVICES

Support That Makes a Difference

Family Counseling

Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. With my coaching sessions, you’ll learn about acceptance and how to provide the best care and support for your loved one while developing tools that enhance your own self-care.

Coaching

This service is a favorite among many of my clients, as it is often times one of the keys to a happier, healthier life. My job is to give you the tools and techniques to care for your loved one in a way that does the most good. After several sessions, you will become well-versed at handling issues whenever and wherever they arise. Call now to schedule a session.

“Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? ‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? ‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ “The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’
